I've been thinking of starting a blog for sometime now. Not necessarily as a means to communicate with others, but as a place where I can place my thoughts up in a visual medium.
A journal could suffice if that was the only aim, but I also want to weigh my thoughts against the social consciousness.
Why?
To stop having the conversations inside my own head mainly. (I talk to myself a lot. I'm great company.) Another reason is to have voices I have no control over comment, and in the process there may be a quip that might trigger an idea, a brainstorm or a boss thought.
What is a boss thought? Nothing to do with my employer, because I use the word "boss" in the sense of something being really cool, primo, hip or outstanding. It's one of my favorite words. So a "boss thought" is an awesomely cool brainwave. Something that is a trip or an eye opener. A moment when the light bulb goes on in your head and precipitates action.
That is a Boss Thought.
Also, I've got to thank Madam Miaow. Reading her blog encouraged me to finally get off my tuchus and start blogging.
